We are so pleased and honoured to be making the lives of those in our communities easier and more convenient. Transportation is crucial to those living in rural areas, and there are many, many stories like Chris’ that needs to be told. Our passion comes from helping those who seek to maintain their independence, their quality of life, and their involvement in the community – all while staying in their rural homes.
To whom it may concern,
My name is Chris Moir. I am a 34 year old single father of 3 living in Petitcodiac, NB.2 years ago I lost 90% of my vision and became visually disabled. I had to give up my drivers license because of this.
This program is great for myself and others in the surrounding areas, who need to get around once and a while.
I have used Rural Rides a number of times to get to doctors appointments, grocerys, and other odds and ends you need to get done in the city. It gives me the feeling of independence, and that is something that everyone should have.
Just writing this letter to the people at Rural Rides thanking them for all the hard work that is done.
I hope your service continues because it is making my life a little easier.
Thanks,
Chris Moir
